Tom: "I am married to Alice Gustafson of Laramie who is a teacher at Laramie Junior High School. We have two
children: Kali, my step-daughter, who is 23 and finishing her studies at UW, and Kathi who is 13 and an eighth
grader at LJHS. For the past 25 years, in addition to my teaching, I have produced and hosted The Ranch Breakfast
Show on Wyoming Public Radio. It is a folk and bluegrass program that airs on Saturdays starting at 11:00 a.m. I
also play bass in the Big Hollow Bluegrass Band. I like to hike and mountain bike all year. In the winter
I enjoy cross-country skiing. My hobbies are songwriting, reading, and taking care of our four-year-old golden
retriever, Hunter."
