Mary O'Flannigan
Kindergarten Teacher
Mary O'Flannigan is our Kindergarten teacher. Mary is a Laramie native. She was a paraprofessional at Linford
School for a year. She has taught Kindergarten at St. Laurence since November 2002. She has taken training in Early
Childhood Literacy, the DIBELS assessment program, and training in the TRIBES behavior model.
Mary: "St. Laurence School has been a part of my life since first grade. I am a 1962 alumna. All seven of our
children have graduated from St. Laurence School. I always wanted to be a teacher. I volunteered and helped in the
classrooms when my children were students. I went on to be a Kindergarten aide for three years at St. Laurence.
Because of the mentorship and modeling of Winona Munari, I returned to UW and completed my B.A. in elementary and
early childhood. I feel fortunate to teach at St. Laurence because of the opportunity to share my faith and continue to
build lasting friendships and community with my students and their families."
