Frances (Cordova) Haugen is our Spanish teacher. Frances moved to Laramie from Trinidad, CO. She received her B.A. from Adams State College in Alamosa, CO with a major in secondary education and a minor in Spanish and business. She taught physical education and business at St. Scholastica Academy in Canon City, CO. Frances also taught Spanish at Holy Trinity High School in Trinidad and conversational Spanish through the Adult Education Program at Trinidad State Junior College.

Frances: "Buenos dias! Me llamo Senora Haugen and I have taught Spanish at St. Laurence for the past two years. I am married to my best friend, Terry S. Haugen. My sons, Wesley and Kelly Carter have blessed us with eight grandchildren. My hobbies include counted cross-stitching, quilting, and sewing. I love jigsaw puzzles. My interests include camping, fishing, cooking, spending quality time with family and friends, and reading. I have thoroughly enjoyed my teaching experience at St. Laurence and working with all the faculty, staff, and students.
