The CALibrate Calendar Widget is a tool that allows you to hook up to your online calendar with CALibrate. This widget
uses the Yahoo! Widgets framework, so to begin using the Widget you must first download the widget from widgets.yahoo.com.
Search for CALibrate in the ‘Search for a Widget’ search bar, and then click ‘Get It!’.
Quick Setup
To use the Quick Add feature, first follow steps 1-5 from the Add Viewable Calendars Step below. (note: You may
only select one calendar for the quick add feature, if you try to enter a URL containing multiple calendars
the quick add will not work, this only affects step 3). Now paste the calendar URL into the ‘Quick add calendar’
text field, and enter your CALibrate username/password in the appropriate fields in the widget preferences page.
Now you are ready to take full advantage of the CALibrate Calendar Widget.

| Add Viewable Calendars |
By default the widget will use the standard U.S. Holidays calendar, but you can change this to a personal calendar
by following these steps:
- Log in to your CALibrate account at www.happyjacksoftware.com/calibrate
- Click on the ‘Actions’ drop-down box and select ‘My URLs’
- In Select Calendars, find the calendar that you wish to connect to (you can select multiple calendars here if you wish)
- Now click on the Widget API Radio Button, and copy the URL that shows up in the URL box.
- Now open up the CALibrate Calendar Widget in your Yahoo! Widgets dock, and click on the gear icon to open
up the widget preferences page.
- Finally, paste the URL into the ‘View Calendars’ text field, and hit ‘Save’
Now you will have all the events from your calendar(s) loaded into the widget.

| Troubleshooting the Widget |
If the calendar does not show up on the widget, there are a couple of common problems that you should check for.
- Are you connected to the internet?
- Is the calendar URL in the preferences page correct?
If neither of these things help, try resetting the widget using the reset button in the top left.
