| Category Preferences |
| Many a company wanted to be able to select more than one category and have that be their view of the events permanently. We added this feature by allow one to select multiple categories and set them as their
preferential view. So, now you can select more than one (1) category from the category pulldown AND you can keep that view throughout if you set that as your preference. Try it! |

| Lots of Lots of Calendars and ordering them quickly. |
`
| What if you had 120 calendars? Well, you'd probably want a way to quickly order them instead of dragging or moving them around with the GUI. So be it. Now you can order calendars alphabetically with one click
from 'group/arrange calendars'. |

| The List of Gremlins fixed under this release... Will they never end?! |
- Adding Categories with special characters (#, ", /) messed things up a bit. Now you can have "special characters" in your category name.
- Custom event data on edit was not changing on submit.
- Permissions, even though checked and clicked, on high-latency networks, would not "take" because the window was closed before the submit was finished.
- Categories in week mode simply did not work-- now they do!
- Combinations of tabbing "month", "week", "day" acting strangely and fixed. Due to DisplayDate implementation. Fixed.

| Color your World, actually your events. |
You'll notice a new event field that allows you pick a color for your event. Before, events were the "color" of their calendar. But because you kept asking, now you can color an event itself.
It is still true that all events, by default, are the color of the calendar. However, if you own the event and
you want to color it differently, you can. But beware! Once you change the color of the event, nobody who subscribes to the calendar which the event resides on can change the color of that event.
This is great feature for organizations who want to color their events. And there were a lot of you! |

| Widget issues |
`
| The widgets had issues with special characters and would not load if special characters were not handled. Furthermore, the month mode in widgets flat out did not work. You could set
it but nothing would result from that setting. That is now fixed. |

| The List of Gremlins fixed under this release |
- Editing recurring events was really nuts. For optimization reasons, we only send the changed text with the POST but we found that sometimes that just flat out made
everything go bonkers. We still optimize it so that unnecessary data is not sent but we do send all the changed data.
- Pictures were not correctly passing through the API. Now they are.
- Moderated calendar notification now indicates whether an event is recurring or not.
- Moderated calendar notifcation does not split the screen when you change your mind and toggle yes and then no about accepting an event.

| Encrypting your data |
| Users now have the option to secure (encrypt) their calendars by using the https protocol. Many folks really want to secure their data and this feature allows
for that security. Instead of using the regular login page: http://www.happyjacksoftware.com/calibrate, users can now use https://www.happyjacksoftware.com/calibrate.

| Scaling |
| As every software package grows, so too do the original designs. This is simply the evolution of software. What we have found out is that large
companies, very large companies, with over 100 employees who use CALibrate had issues with windows that did not scale well. For example, the edit/delete employee window.
This window would simply just list all employees. Obviously, this does not work well with LOTS of employees. So, we fixed it so that it pages through
employees in alphabetical order and so that there is a search on this window. We went through all windows that listed employees and made sure those windows scaled well.

| The List of Gremlins fixed under this release |
- Edit/Delete employees screen now allows users to edit employees correctly.
- New Calendar now has help and the window was revamped so that it was more standard and had help.
- Very long URLs in the toggling on/off of calendars now longer throws an exception.
- Permissions is now a tab of New and Edit Calendar Windows.
- Check box toggle of turning on/off calendars was set such that it acts as a toggle.

| Graphical User Interface Update |
Logging in to CALibrate you'll notice some very large Graphical User Interface changes. We removed
the "left" sided panels (MyCalendars and My Actions) so that users did not need to scroll horizontally anymore to view
their whole calendar. We also add two more pull downs in the home panel. These are "Actions" and Skins in the home panel.
In spite of the new look and feel, all the great
features still exist and the calendar works the same; And as some folks might say, even better!

| Advanced Search - A new Feature! |
A new Advanced Search feature exsists that allows you to search for events with more criteria. You can
search for events during a certain date period or even for events with certain phrases. The link sits on the home panel.
It will allow you to search events in a date range, with certain phrases, or even exact words. It also uses categories, if you chose,
for criterium. It's been asked for a lot so here it is! Learn more...

| Username and Password Changes |
We've made a change such that every username from here on out must be a valid email address. No longer can people use any username they want. Because username and companies
must provide uniqueness, email addresses are the easiest ways to achieve this. All legacy usernames will be honored, however note, if you edit a user's email address, you
automatically edit the username too!
|
| Company Management Graphical User Interface |
We made some nice changes in the Company Management of our system. Again this was just mostly GUI (graphical user interface) changes, but we certainly did make
a lot of them. The company wizard that previously existed is now long gone, replaced with a simple sub menu. Standardizing all the windows has been very important in our quest
to making the system look and feel consistent from screen to screen was a big priority in this section.
|
| The List of Gremlins this time |
- When Editing a recurring event, one could not turn weekends on or off.
- Events jumping about. This was frightening and turned out to be a timezone bug.
- At times, an user could not change their username and passwords. Fixed so that users can change usernames and passwords.
- Maximum calendars was 120. After that calendar creation would just not work. Fixed so that unlimited calendars now exist and starts reusing colors.

Okay, we admit it. From the skin names to the skins themselves, we possibly had too much fun with this release. Tired of looking at the same ole
calendar screen over and over, we decided, you too,
wouldn't mind the ability to spice up and modernize the look of your calendar.
So, we are excited to announce "Skins it is." Just select the skin off the home panel,
and as we often say in our development shop, "... and then a miracle happens."
And, oh yeah, if you have a favorite skin, let us know and we'll either add it or send you the CSS to allow you to add it yourself.
Enjoy! |

would like your users to know the cost of the event. You can add a custom event property called 'Cost' and when you enter data for the event, not only
do you add time, date, location, etc. you now add information about the cost of the event.
This feature lets you easily customize your event information for your company's specific use. Learn more.
