Events awaiting approval in a moderated calendar are called 'Pending Events.'
The moderator can know of pending events in two ways.
1. The moderator can set their preferences such that they are notified of pending events, via email.
2. They can check the pending events funnel.
1. Go to the Control Panel --> My Management --> Configure Preferences. On the 'Others' tab of the preferences there is a
preference that allows the moderator to define the time they get email for moderated events. By default it is set to 'Never'. However, the user may check that they want
to get notification every hour, every 2 hours, every 4 hours, or daily at noon. The system will then send a email with the subject 'You have pending Events in CALibrate' to
the moderator. From the email, the user can accept or deny pending events. Email is never sent between 6:00am-6:00PM EST for moderated events.
2. When there are events submitted to the moderated calendar, the
'Check Pending Events'

icon will appear on any calendar view (monthly, daily, weekly, etc.).
Click this icon and a window showing all the submitted events for that calendar will
appear. The moderator can then choose to accept or reject the individual events.
