Custom Event Properties can be added by accessing the Control Panel, choosing Company Management, and then selecting Custom Event Management and choosing Add Custom Event Property.



Here, users can create their own event characteristic by first giving the property a label (i.e. Price, Sponsor, etc.) and then selecting the type of property it is:

Integer = allows the property to be defined by numbers (i.e. Maximum attendance capacity)

Currency = makes it possible to display the cost of an event.

String = allows for a blank text box which the user can fill with additional information pertaining to the event.

List = lets users create a drop menu of options for a certain property.

Boolean = for use with properties that have only two options or dichotomous choices like Yes/No.

URL = allows users to add links to related websites for a specific event. The specific web address to be linked from the Event Information window is designated when an event is created.

Once a Custom Event Property has been created it can be applied to any event in the Custom tab at the top of the New/Edit Event Window.
