When a feature is 'grayed out', it indicates that the particular feature is unavailable for use. For example, if you are merely a subscriber and not the owner of a calendar, the only features available to you upon right-click will be 'Unsubscribe' and 'Pick Color'. The Delete, Modify, and Export features are grayed out because the user does not have permission to use those features.
